Creating a Web Page

1. Log in to the admin website. The link to the log in is (see DBCU director for login and password)

2. Click on the Pages tab that is along the left hand side of the dashboard. Then click Add New.

3. Fill in the Title, body, and click publish to create the page. (You can also save a draft until you are ready to publish)

Inserting Media into your post.

Pictures and graphics can help to liven up your page. To insert media, click the add media tab on the page you are creating.

Then you can either upload a new media or select from previously uploaded media in the Media Library and insert the media in to the post.

Finally, you can edit the picture by clicking on the pencil that appears on the picture when you run the cursor over or click on the picture.

Using the Page Builder (adding videos, pictures and event countdowns)

If you scroll to the very bottom of the page you are editing, you will find the page builder. This allows you to drag and drop different media and other elements and arrange them in the manner most fitting to your goals.

Just drag the element you are adding add to the bin below the page builder and edit the element.

Connecting the world to your newly created Web Page

Once you have created your web page, you need to get the word out about your page. Share the link for your page on Facebook, Twitter, and The City. The link for your newly created page can be found at the top of the edit page screen.

You will also need to create an announcement for your page and attach it to the DBCU home screen. See the instructions on how to make a website announcement.
